Abstract:
The book examines the impact of European integration on European businesses through the promotion of entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation, in the context of the development and cohesion of the Member States and regions of the European Union. In particular, it records, analyzes, and evaluates, through theory, empirical research and documentation, and analysis of current policies, the key parameters influencing the development, form, and intensity of entrepreneurial and innovative activities of European enterprises, from the perspective of the European Union. This book aims to fill a research and bibliographic gap regarding the distribution of business innovation activities in the European Union at the level of Member States and regions, how they are influenced by national and regional geo-economic characteristics, and how they influence the Union's development path. In this endeavor, the research on the analysis of the impact of regional characteristics on the effectiveness of undertaking innovative activities, as well as on the impact of innovative activities on the development path of regions, serves as a guideline. In conclusion, the aim is to study, at regional, national, and international level, the evolution of problems, policies, and practices relating to innovative entrepreneurship and the dynamic development process of European enterprises, with an emphasis on examining the parameters of entrepreneurship, innovation, technological policy, development, and cohesion.
