Chapter 6 is the final chapter, dealing with the conclusions of the analysis conducted in this book, as well as the prospects and related policy recommendations. Specifically, this chapter summarizes the interaction between entrepreneurship, innovative activities, and the competitiveness of the European economy, and the impact this interaction has on the developmental trajectory and convergence of the European Union, at both the member state and regional levels. The chapter concludes with policy proposals regarding the influence of innovative entrepreneurship and inter-state and inter-regional cohesion within the European Union.
