Description:
Abstract:
The third chapter refers to group and collaborative instructional models, which are based on sociocognitive learning theories. After a brief introduction to the concepts of "instructional model" and " instructional technique", the theoretical framework of cooperative teaching is presented. A distinction is made between cooperative and collaborative learning. In cooperative learning, learners or groups of learners participate in a process, work independently and at the end contribute their work to an overall result. In collaborative learning, learners or groups of learners work together to complete an assigned task. The chapter concludes with a reference to collaborative instructional techniques and the digital technologies that support them.
