Abstract:
This chapter is a brief introduction to the business strategy. In this direction, some basic concepts of strategic planning are presented in conjunction with classic tools for analyzing the business environment. In addition — and especially for social enterprises — the concept of social impact is analyzed and a strategic approach is attempted to the process of its recognition and evaluation. Finally, the available strategies for the development and growth of social enterprises are presented.
