This chapter is an applied methodology for both the analysis of the current situation of the natural and cultural environment and its evaluation in relation to the forecasts of the previous Regional Spatial Framework. This chapter identifies significant and sensitive ecosystems -with particular reference to the risks of degradation-, areas protected under environmental and archaeological legislation, sources of pollution and areas with a serious pollution problem.
