| Abstract: |
This chapter introduces the theoretical aspects that are important concerning catalog enrichment based on (open) linked data. Then, using the LOD service lobid.org managed by the University Library Centre of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (hbz), an example of how to enrich bibliographic data based on other LOD sources is presented. Finally, future possibilities and capabilities for catalog enrichment are considered.
