In this chapter, ionization and the properties of water, the concept of pH will be studied and typical examples of calculating the pH of a strong acid, a strong base, a weak acid, and a weak base will be solved. The concept of buffer solutions is also explained and representative examples of calculating the pH of aqueous solutions are solved.
