| Abstract: |
In this chapter we discuss the concept of strategic planning, both in general and in relation to higher education. We discuss the models of strategic planning, the steps necessary for the successful implementation of a strategic plan and the pitfalls that are hidden in the process of its implementation. The discussion concludes with references to the legislative framework concerning strategic planning in our country.
