Abstract:
Triticale belongs to the cereal grains of temperate climates and is an artificial species created by crossing wheat and rye. The plant’s botanical characteristics and its biological cycle are directly related to its adaptability and good agricultural practice. This chapter includes a description of the root system, stem, leaves, inflorescence and kernel of the plant. Its developmental stages from germination to maturation of the plant are described in detail.
