Description:
Abstract:
In this last chapter, as a conclusion, reference is made to the use of software tools and the methodology for designing and implementing a performance analysis study. The main features of such tools are examined, with emphasis on modeling tools based on queueing networks and the simulation method. Certain tools are described and examples are given in terms of the structure of the functionalities and the user interface. A brief reference is also made to the capabilities provided by the simulation libraries of the Python programming language. Criteria and procedures for applying appropriate methods or tools in the context of a performance study project are then addressed, with a focus on the characteristics of web-based systems.
