Chapter 3 provides a detailed description of the reproductive system in terrestrial gastropods. Information is provided on reproductive behavior and its role in determining the mating system in terrestrial gastropods. Finally, the chapter highlights the importance of understanding and managing the reproductive biology of snails and its connection to controlling, optimizing, and ensuring the success of reproduction in farming units.
