Description:
Abstract:
This chapter deals with three main topics: the used 3D model, the data structures used for encoding and storing the model, and the algorithms that implement the representation, or other algorithmic operations between models. Emphasis will be given to the most widespread models such as the polygonal, Bezier surfaces used as patches to connect other surfaces, and the control of the Level of Detail of the models (LOD).
