Description:
Abstract:
Chapter 12 discusses the theatrical management of a concept/idea that encompasses multiple strong scientific and empirical representations. Initially, representations of time are presented and discussed from the perspectives of physics, psychology, sociology, and anthropology. The chapter also introduces theatrical studies that highlight ideas of linear, cyclical, and relative time. It concludes with a discussion of the findings and a series of screenplay design exercises.
