Description:
Abstract:
In the Introduction, the way the topics and contents of the book are arranged and connected is described. The advantages of this arrangement are also justified based on educational arguments. Specifically, it is argued that the historical arrangement of the topics (in the order imposed on them by the research that created them) constitutes a strong teaching tool for the following reasons: a) we do not hide anything from our students (improving relationships), b) the text follows a narrative structure that we hope will allow for enjoyable reading, c) because each subsequent topic arises from the evaluation of the previous one, the text teaches the discipline of self-control (systematic evaluation) as an essential characteristic of teaching (future teachers, beyond their teaching courses, learn to teach like their own teachers), d) it frees from the anxiety of error and shifts success to its scientifically disciplined revelation (see creativity).
