Description:
Abstract:
An experimental exercise is included for studying the phenomenon of light polarization and optically active substances. The phenomenon of light polarization is observed and measured. By crossing a polarizer and an analyzer, measurements are taken to verify Malus's law for linearly polarized light, as well as to measure the specific rotation of a solution containing an optically active substance.
