Abstract: |
The purpose of the experimental exercise is to measure the Hall voltage of samples through which electric current flows and that are placed in a strong magnetic field. An experimental calculation of the Hall coefficient is performed for a GaAs-type semiconductor sample, along with the determination of the type of carriers and their density in the semiconductor.
