Description:
Abstract:
In the fifth chapter, minerals are studied, and they are classified into two main categories: silicate and non-silicate minerals. Non-silicate minerals are further categorized into respective groups based on their anion. The physical and mechanical properties of minerals are explained by their crystalline structure and the presence of chemical elements. Methods for mineral characterization are provided.
