Abstract:
In chapter 6 three common methods of multivariate analysis are discussed, namely factor analysis, cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. These methods are developed in Statistics and they are often used in Spatial Analysis. The presentation includes examples and focuses more on the application than on the mathematical background, since further reading is suggested in the references section.
