This chapter analyzes: the types necessary for the creation of international distribution networks, the structure of the distribution network in each exporting country, the management of international distribution networks including setting marketing objectives, evaluation, motivation of intermediaries, and control. It also describes the management of physical distribution, which includes order processing, main and ancillary export documents, choice of transportation mode, and inventory management. Finally, the chapter discusses logistics service providers and e-commerce.
