Description:
Abstract:
The fourth chapter focuses on phonological awareness. It begins with a description of the levels at which phonological awareness develops and of the developmental trajectory it follows. Once a distinction is made with other related terms (e.g. phonological processing), phonological awareness is discussed about vocabulary and reading. The final part presents data on phonological awareness in children with language difficulties.
