Harassment is a more specific manifestation of direct discrimination, which is dealt with separately under EU law. In Chapter 8, after showing how this concept has been shaped in the legal orders of the Anglo-American and Romano-Germanic legal traditions, as well as in the EU legal order, we approach the basic structural features of the concept, as well as its place in the European Convention on Human Rights and European Social Charter law.
