Discrete-Time Fourier Transform
Authors: Liavas, Athanasios

Description:
Abstract:
Chapter 7 focuses on the Fourier transform of aperiodic discrete-time signals, repeating the structure of Chapter 5. Emphasis is given to the differences between discrete- and continuous-time signals and systems, particularly on the Nyquist sampling theorem and the categorization of signals in the frequency domain. To unify the concepts of Chapters 4, 5, and 7, we analyze the duality between a discrete signal in the time (or frequency) domain and a periodic signal in the frequency (or time) domain, respectively.
