Description:
Abstract:
In Chapter 2, we study continuous-time signals and systems, following the structure of Chapter 1. Our reference to several concepts is brief due to the similarity with corresponding concepts in Chapter 1. Emphasis is given to the differences between continuous- and discrete-time signals and systems, particularly on the introduction of the time scaling operation, the replacement of the sum by the integral in the definitions and properties, and the different definition of the unit impulse signal as a generalized function.
