Description:
Abstract:
The topics that have been presented in the prior chapters are synthesized here, together with case studies relating to the topics approached, so that students can familiarize with the methodology proposed by this book. Such a methodology or methodologies are no "receipts" for designers, but offer a frame of reference within which the object of design can be dissected by distinct cultural layers. Combinations of conditions (place, landscape, continuum, network) and conceptual tools (site, diagram, program) constitute landforms and syntheses which contain the object as well as the surrounding world of the work of architecture.
