Chapter 5 analyses the central role of Diversity, the management of which is linked to the Permacrisis. It is particularly significant that in this conception and analysis, the management of Diversity is linked to the corresponding management of Identity, but also to social inequality, vulnerability, exclusion and risk. Thus, this chapter attempts to contribute to the debate on the management of Diversity in the context of the Social State, with an exemplary focus on the field of education and diversified social practices.
