Description:
Abstract:
This chapter includes five protein analysis exercises. These exercises can be performed consecutively as a single set, where each exercise continues from where the previous one ends, or they can be performed independently. The exercises are as follows: isolation of myosin from calf muscle, quantitative determination of total protein by the Lowry and Bradford methods, identification of characteristic protein groups through simple organic reactions, and protein electrophoresis.
