Authors: Bratitsis, Tharrenos

Description:
Abstract:
In the ninth chapter, reference is made to the digital comic and how it is connected to the educational process. First, a brief historical review of the history of comics is attempted, from the graphic depiction of hunting scenes in caves to the early 20th century, with developments in America and Europe and the first comic creators. Then, an attempt is made to define the comic as well as related concepts (conceptual framework) with which it is connected. References are, then, made to the connection of digital comics with education as well as their didactic use. In addition, the categories of the digital comic, the stages of its creation (design), its structural elements (editing) and finally, the software are formulated with indicative examples and didactic suggestions for their use.
