| Abstract: |
In this chapter, an introduction to Digital Storytelling (DS) will be made, clarifying basic concepts and definitions (storytelling, digital storytelling, function, structure). In addition, issues of utilizing digital storytelling in various fields will be analyzed. No particular reference is made to the field of Education, since Chapter 8 deals exclusively with this subject. Finally, the chapter will present issues of developing creativity, developing skills of analysis and synthesis, and integrating ideas into stories.
