Abstract: |
The increasing presence and use of technological applications in all business functions have created new challenges in the field of human resource management, such as the transformation of the role of executives, human resource information systems and the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital assistants. The utilization of these applications in employee management has shaped the new reality of E-HRM. E-HRM refers to the utilization of technology for the implementation of HR strategies, policies, practices and the execution of related activities/activities. There are already differences in the performance of companies that use technology in the implementation of human resource management practices compared to those that do not or have simply remained in the automation of certain processes. The chapter presents examples of technological applications in human resource management, examines the necessary digital skills of personnel management executives, analyzes the importance and purposes of E-HRM and its application in the recruitment, selection, evaluation, training, development of personnel and payroll systems. In addition, it explores the implementation of personnel management through technology-based partner networks (Virtual HRM) and the application areas of artificial intelligence in human resource management.
