Abstract: |
Happy people have been shown to be more productive, creative, task-oriented and engaged in business. The purpose of the chapter is to introduce the reader to the scientific approach to happiness, to present those factors that contribute to happiness within an organizational setting, to list methods/tools for measuring the level of happiness and finally to demonstrate how happiness may not be synonymous with a momentary situation but being a mindset, a value.
