Abstract:
Chapter 6 deals with CPR without the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The aim of this chapter is to teach CPR without AEA. In more detail, the trainee will learn to approach the victim safely, check for response and normal breathing, call for specialized help, apply CPR, i.e. chest compressions and rescue breaths, and how to place the victim in a recovery position.
