This chapter continues (from Chapter 8) the derivation of demand functions from utility functions. The following are used: Constant Elasticity of Substitution (CES), Demand Systems Quadratic in Expenditure and Price-Independent, Generalized Logarithmic (PIGLOG) Demand Functions). Also, Deaton and Muellbauer's Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) and Gorman's indirect utility and cost function are presented.
