| Abstract: |
The ninth chapter refers to the main expressions of climate change due to global warming. Section 1 describes the main parameters of climate change (air temperature, precipitation, sea temperature, sea level, CO2 increase, changes in wave heights, marine heat waves, Mediterranean cyclones). Section 2 examines the impacts of climate change, such as sea temperature rise, ocean acidification, marine heat waves, threats to coastal wetlands, decreasing freshwater supply and sea level rise in relation to coastal retreat.
