Description:
Abstract:
The concluding chapter refers to the contemporary challenges that the conjuncture of the economic crisis of the first decade of the 21st century and the health crisis of the second and third decades of the 21st century bring to the way politics is perceived and exercised by young people. The recent changes brought about by the health crisis in the lives of young people and in the formation of their social relations (remote teaching, increase in unemployment, forced coexistence with older generations) will be discussed, with an emphasis on their gender dimensions. Subsequently, these changes will be linked to possible changes in the way politics is perceived and exercised. We will also discuss the emerging dominant discourse about youth in these new conditions, and how this becomes a strong socialization factor for youth.
