Evaluating eHealth systems is challenging due to the complexity of healthcare delivery. However, there is a broad body of research and evidence to guide the evaluation of eHealth. This chapter describes the philosophical assumptions and approaches and specific evaluation methods for evaluating eHealth systems, as well as methodological guidelines for conducting eHealth evaluations.
