The chapter aims to present the main evaluation methods and techniques. It begins by distinguishing qualitative and quantitative methods and their basic characteristics. Then we discuss the basic evaluation techniques of each method, their advantages as well as their limitations. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the type of data required by each technique, the collection techniques, and the advantages and limitations involved in their use.
