In this chapter, the concept of digital literacies is studied and extensive reference is made to the new types of literacies that learners must develop in the context of teaching/learning a foreign language in the modern digital environment. The Framework of Digital Literacies (Pegrum, Dudeney & Hockly, 2018) is presented in detail and examples of activities for the effective inclusion of digital literacies in the language course are given.
