Description:
Abstract:
A model is the representation of a physical or conceptual system such as a natural phenomenon, a natural organism, a concept, etc. Modeling is the process of creating the model, which in most cases, especially when done on a computer, requires mathematical formulation. The simulation presupposes the existence of the model and constitutes its dynamic-temporal evolution. Studying simulation contributes to positive learning outcomes. Visualization refers to the visual representation of the simulation. Highlighting new information through visualization enhances learning. An appropriate instructional model for the use of the technique of simulation is exploratory learning.
