Parametric Design with PTC - Creo Parametric
Authors: Bailas, Konstantinos
Description:
Abstract:
The basic concepts and design tools required for the parametric design of 2D and 3D digital objects are described in detail and through examples. The different types of sketches (open, closed) and 3D models (surfaces, solid models of complex and simple geometry), used during design, are presented. Basic and auxiliary 2D and 3D modeling commands are analyzed and examples of design, based on design intent, are given. Assembly commands for creating complex solid models are also described.
