Abstract: |
The chapter deals with deviant behavior on or through the Internet, which is not yet universally penalized. These behaviors are cyberbullying, cyberharassment, and cyberstalking. First, the chapter attempts to define all three and distinguish between them. Then follows the analysis of the involved parties (perpetrators and victims), through scientific criminological research, but also in reference to actual cases. The quantitative dimension of these behaviors completes the chapter, along with an alternative approach to the ethical and social responsibility of online behavior.
