This book is applied to the students of Medical School aiming at providing them the basic knowledge regarding Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. The medical students of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens are taught Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine in their 8th or 9th semester with a single examination. This is the first book combining the basic knowledge of both Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine.
