Abstract:
The third chapter is devoted to the advantages offered by the knowledge of bathymetry in a water area focusing in particular on the science of Hydrography which aims at the study of bathymetry with such precision to ensure as safe as possible the safety of navigation of surface vessels. Furthermore, the international organizations indicated that have the authority to monitor the relevant developments, the means of performing hydrographic surveys, which are the national nautical charts (printed or electronic) production and their specifications. Next, the methods and techniques of collecting depth measurements in the framework of a hydrographic survey are described, according to the International Hydrographic Organization.
