Setting operational budgets
When planning the operations of a company, the executives of the financial department prepare management accounting reports of operating and cash budgets where future revenues and costs are estimated, and an action plan is formed for the following year. The seventh chapter addresses the description of 1) the components of a master budget, 2) the benefits of preparing a budget and 3) the process of preparing the operating budget.
