In the fourth chapter, we review qualitative studies of the experience of psychosis. Specifically, we present studies based on the phenomenological approach, narrative and dialogical approaches, social constructionism, thematic qualitative analysis and the biographical approach. Each trend highlights different aspects of the lived experience of psychosis.
