Globalization of banks
The ninth chapter develops various views on the globalization of credit institutions. In particular, it describes those factors that favored the process of globalization (e.g., liberalization of money & capital markets, development of new technologies). It also presents the characteristics of the phenomenon (e.g., its relative autonomy from the real economy), the forms of globalization of banking services, the conditions of their international mobility, their impact on the organizational form of banking groups, as well as the way of its expression in the Greek economy.
