| Abstract: |
The purpose of this chapter is to present methods and procedures for organizing and finding geospatial data, classifying and sharing them. Initially, reference is made to ways of making geospatial data available on the web such as open geospatial data. Particular emphasis is given to the conceptual dimension and ways of disposing and finding geospatial data with modern technologies such as open interconnected geospatial data. In addition, the chapter addresses advanced issues of geospatial information extraction from web sources using natural language processing and geo semantic web technologies.
