Chapter refers to the impacts that urban and industrial environment has on qualitative and quantitative wood production from forest trees, i.e. felling and processing of trees, skidding and transportation of wood to forest industries, industrial processing and use in the form of final products, as well as the disposal of wood products after their service, on natural environment. Also, a reference is made about certain principal measures that have to be taken in order to avoid or minimize the negative effects.
