| Abstract: |
In this thirteenth chapter, Maxwell's four equations which structure the theory of electromagnetism are presented in detail. Electromagnetic waves and their propagation in vacuum are also described. In addition, the electromagnetic wave equation as well as polarization and wave energy are studied. Finally, the properties of the electromagnetic waves are mentioned, and the electromagnetic spectrum is described.
