Description:
Abstract:
This chapter presents the basic principles of kinematic analysis techniques such as the basic steps of two-dimensional analysis using one camera (camera location, settings, sampling rate, lighting, marker placement, calibration), the basic steps of a three-dimensional analysis using high-speed video cameras, the steps of three-dimensional analysis using opto-electronic systems, common measurement errors, the philosophy of analyzing and presenting kinematic data (smoothing, variable selection, types of graphical display)
