Abstract: |
This lab is an extension of Lab 6, focusing on the study of the bipolar transistor’s behavior. The transistor’s output characteristics (I–V between collector and emitter) have already been studied and recorded using both simulation and experimental methods. Here, the shift of the transistor’s operating point is examined for various base-emitter voltage values, and the regions of linear operation, cutoff, and saturation are identified. To compare with the theoretically expected transistor behavior, the load-line technique from Lab 5 is applied.
